Joyce Richman, Executive and Career Coach
Joyce Richman founded her executive and career coaching practice, Joyce Richman and Associates Ltd., in 1982. She specializes in assessing client strengths and needs, developing effective leadership and management techniques, enhancing and improving communication skills, and advancing and retaining key employees. Joyce works closely with her clients to set measurable goals and facilitates action to achieve desired outcomes. She has extensive experience in the use of interviewing techniques, 360° feedback, and personality assessments. Joyce’s clients come from a broad spectrum of organizations and disciplines that include higher education, manufacturing, sales, marketing, media, technology, pharmaceuticals, medicine, banking and finance, service, IT, and non-profit sectors. Joyce is a member of the adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership based in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is certified to administer a variety of feedback and psychological instruments including Benchmarks®, MBTI®, FIRO-B®, CSI©, CISS®, CPI. In addition to her private practice, Joyce has worked with hundreds of Center clients across the United States and abroad. Joyce is a weekly guest on Greensboro television and a weekly columnist for The News & Record. She is the author of Roads, Routes and Ruts: A Guidebook to Career Success (1993), in its 3rd printing. Richman is a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Personnel Consultant, and holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition, Joyce is a graduate of Harvard University’s Program on Negotiation.
